Cool striking idea, I like it very much !
But given the position of the sun, shouldn't this shadow cast be longer? This guy arrived leaving no footsteps in the sand? Sorry this is just my Cartesian mind speaking, but to my opinion one should have to deal with details like that to make an impossible view more believable.
